Clemson University is an American public, coeducational, research university located in Clemson, South Carolina. Founded in 1889, the university is academically divided into five colleges. It ranks as the 23rd best national public university by U.S. News and World. The School of Computing at Clemson offers a nationally-recognized faculty that prides itself on the quality of its teaching and that is very active in a wide range of research areas. School of Computing of Clemson University and School of Software Engineering (SSE) of USTC have signed an agreement of intercollegiate cooperation which helps to provide SSE students with a broad and solid background in computer science.

Duration of Study for the Joint Master’s program: 3 years

This program enables you to obtain a master's degree in computer science from Clemson University as well as a master's degree in  software engineering from USTC.

1. The 1st year: study in SSE, USTC
2. The 2nd year: study in School of Computing (SOC), Clemson University
3. The 3rd year: internship at a company and thesis completion        

Credits for Master Degree Program in Clemson

Clemson will accept up to 10 credits which students have taken in SSE from the course list which is  written on SOC Graduate Brochure (Credit will not be transferred for any  course in which the student’s grade was less than “B” or 78).It is required to finish 30 credits for the master degree in Clemson.
